Join Allison for a deeply relaxing exploration of your subconscious and learn how to break the cycles of repetitive negative thinking, worry, and doubt. This workshop will be both educational and experiential. You'll discover how your subconscious impacts your daily life and gain tools for disrupting old patterns and releasing unconscious blocks that keep you stuck. Then, you’ll be guided on a relaxing hypnosis journey to dissolve negative self-talk, boost confidence, increase motivation, and activate the power within.
Why Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation, focused attention, and heightened awareness.
We naturally go in and out of a hypnotic state several times throughout the day—while daydreaming, falling asleep, reading, scrolling, or taking a familiar route. When it's intentional, hypnosis can be an extremely effective painless tool for retraining the brain for desired results.
Hypnosis allows us to tap into our subconscious in order to reprogram thoughts and emotions responsible for unwanted behavior, self-sabotaging patterns and beliefs, uncomfortable emotions, and hard-to-break habits. The subconscious governs our actions, beliefs, and perceptions, and it’s where we operate from 88-95% of the time. Serving as an archive of our lived experiences, it shapes how we interpret the world, making it a crucial aspect of our identity. This is why hypnosis is such a powerful tool for positive change.
How Hypnosis Works
During hypnosis, the brain experiences an increase in alpha and theta brain waves. This shift in brain wave activity relaxes the body and cognitive mind while improving the brain-body connection, making us more open to suggestions. In this state, positive shifts can occur, allowing us to replace negative mindsets, patterns, memories, or emotions with productive, healing ones.
While hypnosis is somewhat of a natural phenomenon and isn't fully understood, substantial scientific and clinical research supports its therapeutic benefits. These range from pain relief and stress reduction to behavioral changes and even alleviating hot flashes, fears, and phobias.
What you can expect
Wear comfortable clothes you can relax in. As with meditation, you can participate in the guided journey while sitting up or lying down. The guided hypnosis will last 30–40 minutes. Afterwards, participants typically feel lighter, clearer, and more relaxed, experiencing a heightened sense of awareness.
