Sound + Movement Experience

-

at Kula Yoga Project (Williamsburg) (85 N 3rd Street
(Berry & Wythe) Brooklyn, NY 11249)

This two hour movement and sound journey will guide you on an exploration of connection to the inner rhythm and flow of your body and breath, while carefully directing your awareness deeper toward the present moment; shifting beyond the monkey mind, creating space, expansiveness and softly cultivating new, neural connections as we listen deeply. We will use breathwork and multidisciplinary styles of movement from tapping, to rolling, yoga, mobility techniques, and mindfulness practices lovingly enhanced with the rich sound of various overtone emitting instruments, to travel deep into the many layers of our being and fine tune our spirits.

All class cards, memberships, and drop ins welcome! PLEASE register in advance to ensure space.
If you register and cannot attend, you MUST cancel your own reservation prior to the start of class to avoid being charged for the class, or a cancellation fee (in the case of memberships).

Please bring your own water bottle to refill.

Instructions on how to cancel your registration can be found HERE.

Thank you!

(Int/Adv) Kula Flow is vinyasa (or flow) style yoga with an emphasis on creativity and alignment. Classes are inventive and thoughtful sequences of sun salutations, standing & seated postures, back bending, and inversions —guided by a steady breath to tone and calm the mind. Most teachers also use bandha work to open and strengthen the inner body. (Classes differ in tone and vigor depending on the teacher, so if you have special needs/interests please contact [email protected].) For students with a regular yoga practice.
