We recommend taking the Intro to Somatics class prior to this one. While not a yoga class, you will see some similar shapes and perhaps even reach a meditative state. Done entirely on the floor, we'll explore nurturing child-like movements like rolling and rocking. We'll try to use the least amount of effort to move from shape to shape using momentum and gravity. There is no right or wrong way to do it. I recommend long sleeves & long pants. The more slippery the surface (i.e. wood floor rather than rug) the better. No props, no mat needed.
