Hi, I’m Whitney (she/her). I first discovered yoga after moving to New York in 2018. My background in gymnastics laid a strong foundation for my yoga practice—there’s something similar in the precision, balance, and awareness of movement that I love in both. Growing up, I also explored just about every sport I could—soccer, tennis, crew, dance, swimming—you name it. I’ve always loved the feeling of moving my body and learning how to control those movements, but I’ve also learned the beauty of letting go of that control sometimes.
For a few years, I practiced Bikram-inspired yoga and explored various styles before finding my home at Kula in early 2023. It instantly felt like a second home. I completed my 200-hour training with Kula at the start of 2024, and I’m so honored to be here, holding space for us to breathe, move, and just be human together. Excited to practice with you!
