My yoga initiation occurred in Boston back when much of their yoga was under one roof. I was a sprightly, albeit wayward, ex-ballerina, and like so many others stumbled upon the yoga path rather haphazardly and dove head-in. I began teaching full time more than a decade ago- just shy of my 21st birthday- so I quite literally came of age within the yoga sphere. The next several years were spent teaching in Boston but in 2010 NYC called loud and strong.
I continue to refine the teaching I'm known for: astute sequencing woven with intention and breath using a solid thread of the anatomical nitty-gritty. I am on faculty of the Kula Yoga 30-hour and 200-hour RYTs and senior instructor and co-creator of Boston's JP Centre Yoga 200-hour RYT. I am particularly passionate about supporting teachers on their path and teach both on-going and specialized mentorship programs.

In addition to 15+ years of regular practice with the brilliant teachers I continue to study with, I am an E-RYT 500 certified instructor with over 650+ hours of Yoga Alliance Registered training hours. I am profoundly inspired by my long-time weekly study with Iyengar teachers Genny Kapuler and Nikki Costello. Anatomy has been the backbone (pun intended!) from the beginning of my teaching career and I have studied with Tom Myers (KMI) and several of his senior teachers in both workshops and a cadaver dissection lab. My foundation and advanced trainings with Ana Forrest have offered unparalleled guidance and taught me to stand up, on and off the mat.
