Hi! I’m Oceana.
I’m a Northern California-raised, New York City-educated acupuncturist, yoga teacher, holistic health coach, educator and mom of two.
I’ve worked in the wellness space for over two decades weaving together these healing modalities in sessions with my patients and private clients and in workshop and retreat settings from Upstate New York to Miami. Costa Rica and Italy. My work is steeped in the practices that have significantly shifted my own life and I believe in a multi-disciplinary and diverse approach to healing and wellness, which includes work on the physical, mental, emotional, energetic and meta-physical levels.
I graduated with honors and received my Master’s degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC in 2011. I specialize in Trigger Point Dry Needling, an advanced technique of needling for pain syndromes and musculoskeletal injury and Cosmetic Acupuncture, a natural approach to skin rejuvenation and anti-aging, incorporating Traditional Chinese Medicine, fine line needling, gua sha and LED light therapy.
As a mom of two I have experience and a special interest in women's health and I love working with women (and kids!) throughout their life stages. I continue to study Aroma Acu-Point Acupuncture (AAT) and weave essential oils and aromatherapy into every treatment, bringing a deeply spiritual and energetic centering to my work.
I am a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
With years of experience as a yoga teacher and holistic health coach, I know first hand that health starts with the little choices we make everyday. My goal is to help you find the daily practices, lifestyle tweaks and tools to bring your body into balance and optimal health.
