Valerie Anne Verdier

Growing up in Haiti, movement has always been a big part of Verdier’s life. Her background  as a dancer and track and field athlete  combined with her curiosity about the inner workings of the body influenced her studies in  kinesiology and massage therapy. 

Her yoga  practice began as a way to heal a sport’s injury but quickly changed into a regular practice. She then continued her development with a variety  of training in different styles of yoga. 

Functional anatomy and biomechanics  inform both her practice and teachings.  She believes in exploring all types of movement,  blinding the traditional with the more recent practices, as a way to offer an intelligent and well-rounded class.
