Betsy Helmer
After several years of practice, Betsy started teaching Yoga in 2014. She has completed nearly 1,000 hours of training predominantly with Baptiste, Modo, the Prison Yoga Project, and Kula.
In her classes, she aims to hold space for students to develop a deeper intimacy with their bodies and in turn, a broader breath of compassion for themselves.
Off her mat, Betsy is a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. She once did an "interminable" presentation on the connection between Long Form Comedic Improv and Yoga Philosophy.

She feels lucky to be a part of the Kula community, as a student and teacher. Much love and gratitude to Nikki V., for seeing the heart in her teaching.
