Chelsey Kapuscinski

Chelsey Kapuscinski is a Certified Rolfer, Thai Bodyworker and Advanced Yoga Instructor who has been deeply immersed in studying the body since 2014. In her group yoga classes, she seeks to strike a balance between full spectrum flow with invitational cueing and skillful hands on assists, focus on breath to facilitate change in the body-mind physiology, and a sprinkle of nerdy movement anatomy that promotes embodied awareness on and off the mat. After having recovered from numerous yoga injuries and suboptimal movement patterns, Chelsey’s current definition of “advanced” asana practice is one that is nuanced, aware, adaptable, and sustainably challenging.

In addition to teaching group yoga classes, Chelsey is the founder of Brooklyn Mindbody Collective where she offers holistic bodywork (Rolfing & Thai Bodywork) and therapeutic yoga to her clients. Chelsey’s work has produced profound and lasting improvements in her clients’ mobility, pain, posture, somatic processing, and body awareness.

A lifelong learner, she has completed thousands of hours of training in yoga, somatics and bodywork:

- 200 hr YTT at Jai Yoga Arts
- 300 hr Advanced YTT, Meridian Yoga Therapy with Rose Erin Vaughan
- Threes Physiyoga Advanced Training
- Rolfing® at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration
- Scarwork and Neurovascular Release
- Thai Bodywork trainings, Naga Center and Thai Massage Sacred Bodywork
- Somatic Experiencing, currently enrolled

Chelsey fell in love with yoga as a teen in her hometown of Buffalo, NY and continues to use movement as a daily mind-body therapy that deeply informs her work.
